The 2023 Te Muna Road Pinot Noir is classic Craggy Range - elegant, finely tuned, and all about showing off the best of Martinborough.
Grown on those signature limestone soils, it’s got all the good stuff: bright red fruits, a little floral lift, some sweet spice, and silky tannins holding it all together. It’s light on its feet but still has plenty to say, with depth and texture that doesn’t shout but definitely gets noticed.
The 2023 vintage threw in some challenges, with cooler weather and a bit of rain, but careful picking kept things fresh and vibrant. A stint in French oak (28% new) adds just the right amount of polish without stealing the show.
It’s a wine that feels effortless but is quietly complex, built to impress now or after a little time in the cellar.
