2022 Igavi Wines Tsolikouri Lechkhumi

Nestled in the Imereti region of western Georgia, Igavi Wines is the passion project of ex-pat Englishman Aidan Rafferty. Having fallen in love with Georgia's rich winemaking traditions, Aidan sold everything to move there and craft wines that are both smart and approachable, yet deeply traditional. 

This wine, made from the Tsolikouri grape, is a refreshing contrast to the more intense amber whites often produced from this variety. With a cleansing citrusy profile, it offers a delightful balance of crunchiness and minerality, alongside a dry, savory texture. Aged in above-ground qvevri, it showcases the grape’s natural character beautifully.
