2023 Occhipinti SP68 Bianco

Herbal, orchard-fruity, grippy skin contact white blend of Moscato di Alessandria and Albanello, kicked off with an astonishing aromatic burst. Terre Siciliana IGT is the vineyard designation.

Organic and biodynamically farmed vineyards, wild ferment, 15 days on skins (though not super skinsy in truth) six months aging in concrete. A recipe for a stunning, evocative white wine of true Mediterranean personality.

Named after the Strada Provinciale 68, the historic road that passes near to the winery. SP68 Bianco does sound better than Hume Highway Shiraz.
