The Gembrook Hill Chardonnay is not released every vintage. Oft times winemakers Andrew Marks and Timo Mayer opt to make a vintage Blanc de Blanc with the estate grown Chardonnay.
When they do release a table wine, it's invariably very, very good. It sells like hot cakes and is extremely limited.
This is set to be one of the Yarra Valley's best premium Chardonnay releases. Allocations are tight. Get in fast.

"There’s line and length here but there’s also a sweet hit of fruit flavour. It tastes of ripe pears and barley, stonefruit and toast, with a dry, chalky, almost stony feel to the finish, aided by an aftertaste of cracked wheat. If you called this wine unevolved you wouldn’t be far wrong, it has that super young feel to it, but it has the intensity and shape to develop beautifully with age."
