Josh Cooper’s new Pinot Noir is crafted in the same detailed, site-driven style as his Doug’s Vineyard cuvée but hails from the exposed granite soils of Dash Farm, bringing its own distinct personality. It’s a bright, spice-laden Pinot that drinks beautifully young but has the structure to evolve in bottle.
The nose is immediately inviting, bursting with black raspberry, red cherry, and exotic spices, alongside a hint of woody herbs, flinty minerality, and subtle smokiness. The palate is thirst-inducing and layered, packed with red fruit and savoury spice, framed by fresh acidity and fine, powdery tannins that add depth and length.
Expressive and serious in equal measure, this is a perfect introduction to Joshua Cooper’s Pinot Noir style - open and delicious now, but with plenty more to give in the cellar.

"Slick and squeaky pinot noir of sleek lines, tightly wound, coiled with alpine herb, white pepper, green pepper corn, Thai basil, red cherry and touches of Campari and blood orange. All this melds so superbly, a slippery flow of beautiful pinot noir with detail of that herbs, spice, fresh fruit, all in such synergy and pretty fruitiness. So easy to drink, fresh and bright, so much pinosity, for those that count that."
