The grapes from this beautiful expression of natural, biodynamic Pinot Noir come from Jean Francois Ganevat's own estate vineyards, planted in 2006.
The vines sit on the famous Jurassic limestone soils that the region is known (and named) for, with the grapes hand-picked and fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts. A little bit of carbonic maceration provides some nice floral aromas and a velvety texture, and there's about a year of ageing in old conical oak vessels.
As with all Ganevat wines, this Pinot Noir is bottled without fining, filtration, or sulphur.
