2017 Revello Barolo Cerretta

This Ravello Barolo is an intensely powerful Nebbiolo from one of best sites in Serralunga d’Alba.

This is not a wallflower wine to be sure, the dark fruit flavours and the concentration are very indicative of the Ceretta vineyard. There is a rich textural structure woven through this offering with the volume turned up to 11.

Barolo in its all-powerful glory, and while the winery may suggest this wine is made to be both aged, and enjoyed in its youth; the dense tannin profile truly does demand time and patience, to showcase all that is great about the venerable Serralunga soil that produced this fruit.
