The wine shines a vivid ruby in the glass, with juicy red cherry, wild herbs, and spice leading the way. The tannins—silky, almost spaghetti-like, as Timo puts it—are fine yet persistent, giving the wine shape and drive without weighing it down.
A lighter, more fragrant take on Sangiovese that still carries plenty of depth. As always, a one-of-a-kind wine from a one-of-a-kind winemaker.
