The Isabella Chardonnay comes from vines over 40 years old, planted on an east-facing slope that gets the perfect amount of sunlight. Hand-harvested and fermented in French oak barrels, this wine is aged on lees for added texture and complexity.
Only 722 bottles were produced, making this a rare snapshot of Wantirna Estate’s unique microclimate.
The 2023 vintage offers a taut, savoury expression with nectarine, ripe lemon, fennel, and oatmeal with a hint of cedar and vanilla oak.
The palate is lively and textured, with juicy grapefruit acidity, subtle peach, and a long, citrusy finish. While drinking beautifully now, this wine has the backbone to evolve in the cellar.

“It’s a good and lively release...Give it a year or two to settle in.”
