Great value and full of character, El Beyda is a fresh take on McLaren Vale white wine, built around Grenache Blanc with a splash of Grenache Gris, Clairette, and Piquepoul for extra texture and complexity. The Lloyd family has always embraced varieties that suit their coastal vineyards, and this one fits right in.
Hand-picked fruit spends a day on skins before pressing into oak for wild fermentation and six months on lees. The result? A medium-bodied white with soft acidity and a savoury edge. Citrus, white peach, and honeyed aromas lead into flavours of ripe lemon, mandarin, and spiced nougat, with a gentle chalky grip keeping it all in balance.
Bright, textured, and seriously good for the price, this is a no-fuss, food-friendly white that’s perfect with seafood, roast chicken, or just a relaxed afternoon with friends.

"This wine has a bit extra, and a point of difference, and it’s so nicely turned out too. Apple, white nectarine, mint, chamomile, quince and citrus. It’s glossy and gently slippery, but has fine chalky grip, and freshness, with stone fruit, ground almond and a cooling mint character, and some citrus rind (lime I think) on a finish of excellent length. Delightful."
