Le Juice Fleurie 2022 is the result of a unique collaboration between Tom Sheer and James Audas of Das Juice & Lo-Fi Wines, and local Beaujolais winemaker Guillaume Chanudet.
Known for their commitment to sustainability and minimal intervention, Tom and James have crafted this wine to offer a true taste of Fleurie without compromising on quality or accessibility.
Made from 100% Gamay, Le Juice Fleurie hails from the single site of ‘La Cabane,’ perched on the slopes of La Madonne in Fleurie, Beaujolais. The 35-year-old bush vines, rooted in coarse sand with pink granite flecks, give the wine its distinctive character. The grapes undergo carbonic maceration for nine days as whole bunches in concrete, followed by six months of aging in the tank. The result is a wine that’s as bright and juicy as it is easy to drink.
Expect a lively, fresh palate with a fleshy mid-section that gains complexity as it opens up over a few days. Organically farmed and naturally made, Le Juice Fleurie 2022 is a brilliant, honest expression of Gamay—perfect for those who appreciate a wine that’s clean, vibrant, and effortlessly enjoyable.
