Description
The Fontanet Les Terrasses Rouge is a vibrant blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from the Languedoc region in Southern France. This wine showcases a bright red colour and youthful, fresh aromas of cherries and spice. Its juicy palate, complemented by a slightly spicy finish, makes it a delightful and approachable red.
Produced by the Co-op in Saint-Saturnin, just west of Montpeyroux, these wines benefit from the unique terroir of the south-facing slopes of the Cevennes. The rocky clay-limestone soil and dry summer climate limit yields, resulting in concentrated flavours and excellent quality fruit at very affordable prices.
Perfectly paired with cold starters, charcuterie, and lightly seasoned grilled meats, it's a great value entry point to the reds of Southern France.
