As far as the Syrah's from Bernahard Bredell go, the Swanesang sits at the very top. The fruit all comes from a single, small and low-yielding vineyard in the south of Stellenbosch.
The fruit sees no new oak throughout the process, and ages on its lees for about a year before being bottled.
Velvety in texture and boldy flavoured, it's a peppery and magnificently balanced expression of Syrah that exudes quality.
