Juliard is a project built on partnership - both in life and in winemaking. Bernard Morey grew up among the vines at Sorrenberg, while Julia’s background in hospitality and marketing brought her to wine in a different way. Together, they craft minimal-intervention wines that balance tradition with fresh ideas, always with an eye on sustainability.
Their 2024 Rosé is a precise, beautifully structured expression of Beechworth fruit. Made from estate-grown Grenache with a splash of Cinsault from the Bindarra block at Sorrenberg, it’s vibrant, dry, and finely textured. Expect delicate red cherry, cranberry, and apple blossom, carried by crisp acidity and a light floral lift. A creamy, savoury thread on the mid-palate adds complexity, making it more than just a simple summer sipper.
An elegant, refreshing, well-priced Rose from a label to keep an eye on.

"Not often do you see a Grenache rosé in Australia with a 'touch' of Cinsault, yet it's a common blending combo in the south of France. It works well here with Cinsault bringing that extra layer of piercing strawberry and gingery spice to a solid Grenache core of earthy cherry, light confection married to some scintillating, juicy acidity. Fresh and vital, it deserves only light refrigeration."
