Two old Eden Valley Riesling vineyards combine here under the guidance of Domenic Torzi.
The Frost Dodger is quintessential Eden Valley Riesling - lithe, light but full of flavour. Torzi left the wine on lees for eight weeks prior to racking to build in more weight and texture but the end result is as pure and pristine as any Riesling you are likely to see.
It feels dart-like and über refreshing. A seriously good value wine given its potential for ageing up to a decade or more and its stellar drinking in its youth.
We think this wine is surely one of the best value white wines made in Australia. A bargain!

"Texture is lovely, and indeed, this Riesling continues to be one of the most distinctive offerings available from this country. As an aside, it’s quite Italianate in its delivery, which of course I really like."
