Looking for dry and delicious Rose from the Best Value Winery in Australia this year (according to Halliday Wine Companion)? Well, this is the only wine in the country that fits that bill.
Ben Mullen crafts this from mostly Syrah (Shiraz) with a touch of Pinot Noir. Barrel fermented and aged on lees for a few months to slowly build texture, this is a beautiful, delicate and floral take on quasi-Provencale-style Rose.
It's slippery, gently spicy and a lot of fun to drink.

"A blend of 80/20% shiraz/pinot. Whole-bunch pressed and fermented and matured in old puncheons. An enticing, bright salmon pink. Aromas of red fruits, red apple skins and a little spice precede the palate, which is bone-dry, flavoursome, pithy and refreshing. Well priced too."
