Here Damon Koerner puts an interesting spin on an already interesting variety. This is a Vermentino with some attitude.
He use a canny combination of skin contact and ageing in old oak to bring extra layers of complexity to a variety often thought of as mono-dimensional.
This is smashability writ large and arguably the finest example of Vermentino in the country.

"For such a light weight (10.5% alcohol) and modest skin contact, there’s so much flavour and texture here... A thirst-slaking nature, a true palate resetter, but wonderfully evocative of the variety, in its own unique and complex style. Bravo."
