The Rami is a fascinating skin contact wine made from white grapes: Grecanico 50% and Inzolia 50%.
The vines are only a fledgling 12 years old however the astute viticulture underpinning this operation from the get go has seen the fruit develop impressive complexity from a young base.
The fruit spent a week on skins whilst in a concrete vessel before being aged in bottle for a period before release.
It's a refreshing yet tactile wine of immense personality.
What a delicious and intoxicating thing this is to drink.
