Here's a delicate and flowery Pinot Noir from the Commune of Buttons' home farm, that also shows some concentration and density.
Fruit picked nice and early by Jasper Button, wild ferment, old oak - gently, gently all the way to bottle.
It's a soft wine with lovely purity and prettiness, but with a dash of serious pinosity. One thing we know for sure about Commune of Buttons is they make a damn fine Pinot.
Yum, and double yum.
“The cooler ripening season meant lower alcohols and colour but excellent aromatic maturity. The wine is pretty and red-fruited, with distinctive red cherries and savoury characters.”
