Description
Crafted by the dynamic duo, Nadja Wallington and Steve Mobbs, this off-dry Riesling beautifully captures their shared passion for winemaking and cool-climate Rieslings from their beloved Orange region.
Grown at 900 metres above sea level on ancient volcanic soils, this wine benefits from a slow ripening season, which allowed the grapes to develop a delicate balance between vibrant acidity and natural sweetness. With each sip, expect an aromatic burst of fresh lemon peel and white florals, underscored by hints of orange blossom and tangerine. The palate is detailed and fine-boned, with juicy, driving acidity that keeps the wine both refreshing and intriguing.
The winemaking approach was hands-off yet meticulous, with cool fermentations using wild yeast and gentle extraction methods to ensure a clean, phenolic-free finish.
This Riesling is drinking beautifully now, especially with a plate of salt & pepper squid or similar, but it absolutely has the potential to evolve gracefully over the next 10-15 years.

“Lemon sherbert, key lime pie, yellow guava and orange blossom. Delightfully fresh and vibrant with a real undertow of sweetness and succulent acidity. Like the tide receding before a tsunami before a wave of wild citrus, orchard apples and stony, grey slate minerality. There is a peach fuzz like fur of phenolics and a long flavour length. A scintillating wine, utterly delectable and impossible to put down. Drink by 2033”
