The By Farr Viognier is one of the finest examples of the variety in the country.
Winemaker Nick Farr has a keen understanding of the variety and knows just when to pick it from his family vineyard. The key, he says, is to catch the variety when it's just on the cusp of ripeness so there is equal parts flavour and fine minerality through the finished wine.
Treated to the highest quality oak and lees stirred in barrel to build richness and complexity, it's a decadent and luscious example of Viognier that will develop excellently in the cellar.
