The Agincourt is Yarra Yering’s take on a classic Aussie Claret, and it’s also the wine you’ll want to reach for while the big hitters are tucked away in the cellar.
Sourced from vines planted in the early ’90s, this 80/20 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec is all about balance and effortless drinkability. Cabernet brings its signature dark fruits, leafy aromatics and cool-climate finesse, while the Malbec adds plush texture and a juicy, purple-fruited mid-palate. It’s a seamless combo, handled gently by winemaker Sarah Crowe and aged in mostly seasoned oak to keep the fruit front and centre.
Medium-bodied, polished and complete, this is the most immediately delicious of Yarra Yering’s reds.
A perfect snapshot of elegant, early-drinking Cabernet from one of Australia's great vineyards.

"Matured in French barriques (15% new). A medium deep, bright crimson. Fragrant with aromas of damson plums, blackcurrants, cedar and violets. Medium bodied, this elegantly wrought and persistent wine finishes with very fine-grained and suave tannins suggesting this will age gracefully over the next six to eight years."
