Think lemon sorbet, pink grapefruit, and delicate floral notes on the nose. On the palate, there’s a touch of orange pith and ginger, balanced by a fresh, saline edge. The wild fermentation in French oak puncheons (11% new), combined with some bâtonnage, has added texture and depth, to this great-value Mornington Chardonnay.
