This is an excellent example of Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc from Gareth Belton.
It showcases a great balance between ripe fruit, barrel-fermented textural elements and the bright natural acidity that is the signature of the region.
Gareth makes an effort to elevate this from just a simple fruit-driven white wine to something with richness and nuance through the careful but clever use of oak.
Refined, complex, and beautifully put together, it sit comfortably amongst the big boys of the Australian Sauvignon scene... watch out Sorrenberg!

"An essay could be written on the texture of this wine, such is the artistry of its integration, but we'll spare you. Suffice to say, this is an elite white wine."

"A homage to the great Sauvignon blanc's produced in this country!"
