Owen Latta continues to push the boundaries of Australian Riesling, and this release is no exception. Sourced from the granite-rich soils of Mount Alexander in Harcourt, Central Victoria, it’s a wine that’s all about texture, energy, and a strong sense of place.
Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel, it spent 15 months on full lees, building complexity while keeping its freshness intact. Like all of Owen’s wines, it went through full malolactic fermentation and was bottled without fining or filtration - raw, unpolished, and full of character.
Bright, mineral-driven, and layered, this is a Riesling that stands apart from the crowd. If you love wines with texture and detail, this is well worth a look.

"Yeah!.. Gravelly, granitic (!), minerally wine with soft citrus, green olive, ginger, hazy apple juice characters. Very succulent in texture despite its supple elements, a chew and light pumice dryness here. It feels very refreshing overall. It feels like there’s heaps of energy and freshness here. The gentle almond and marzipan notes are wonderful in the mix. It does a lot and moves in wonderful ways."
