Johannes Kopp’s Feinherb Riesling is all about balance - just enough sweetness to round things out, but still fresh and vibrant. Made from 20- to 45-year-old vines grown on a mix of silty, granite, and loess soils, it’s a great example of why Baden Riesling deserves more attention.
Fermented and aged in stainless steel for seven months, it keeps the focus on pure, juicy fruit with bright acidity. At 18 g/L of residual sugar, it sits between dry and off-dry, making it super versatile. It’s the kind of Riesling that works just as well on its own as it does alongside spicy food, seafood, or a good cheese board.
Since it’s only made in certain years, this is the kind of wine you grab when you see it. Great value, seriously drinkable, and always worth having a bottle in the fridge.
