Winemaker Jo Perry has extensive experience making wine in Spain, and she certainly knows her way around Tempranillo.
This comes from Jo's Margaret River vineyard, and is crafted in a fresh and juicy 'joven' style, as is Jo's fingerprint with most of her wines.
Tempranillo can often be a bit ripe and over-the-top but this is gorgeously pure-fruited and full of energy. A beautiful all-occasions red here.

"It was a mistake to taste this just before lunch. My tastebuds started craving jamón, salted almonds and Spanish olives. Plus, a big glass of this delicious wine – to drink. It’s such a cheery, juicy number full of red plums, cherries and a splash of cola/sarsaparilla and fruit pastilles, with a sprinkling of dried herbs. Lighter framed with fine, grainy tannins and uplifting acidity, you can certainly chill this down in warmer weather. Either way, an excellent wine."
