Cobaw Ridge has been a pioneer in the Macedon Ranges since 1985, farming organically and biodynamically long before it was fashionable. Their L’Altra range is all about playfulness and drinkability, and this Syrah Pinot Noir blend is a perfect example.
Made from 90% Syrah Rosé, 8% Pinot Noir pressings, and a touch of Lagrein, it sits somewhere between a deep rosé and a super-light red. The result is a juicy, savoury wine with plenty of energy - bright fruit, gentle spice, and just enough texture to keep things interesting.
Best served with a slight chill, it’s the kind of wine that works just as well at a picnic as it does at the dinner table. A fresh, vibrant take on a blend that’s becoming more and more popular across Australia.
