Dave and Koen (AKA Yetti and Kokonut) have set about crafting a zesty 100% Savagnin, sourced from the biodynamic Gemtree vineyards in McLaren Vale.
It's la ighter, more frisky version of Savagnin brimming with fresh fruit-juice flavours, and some whole bunch liveliness..
This is matured in a 2450L oak barrel from the 1960s - the careful use of oxygen and skin contact lending salty, saline, nutty notes to the underlying tropical fruit.
It's savoury, textural and wickedly delicious to drink.
