Without relying on botrytis, this noble-sweet wine opens with a subtle nose that evolves beautifully to reveal layers of mango, guava, passion fruit, smoke, almond cream, yellow flowers, orange blossom, acacia, and cassis.
Joh. Jos. Prüm, a Mosel legend, took great care in crafting this limited-edition Goldkapsel, with rigorous selections during the late October harvest ensuring only the best grapes made it into the bottle. The result is a refined, elegant wine with a light, layered palate that gains presence and intensity as it opens up.
On the palate, this Auslese shows sublime, silky texture, vibrant acidity, and wet stone minerality. The refreshing finish lingers with a delightful passion fruit note. This wine promises to evolve gracefully over decades, becoming more harmonious and complex.
