2021 Herve Souhaut Saint Joseph Rouge Les Cessieux

The Les Cessieux is a relatively new cuvee from Herve Souhaut, made with fruit from vines that his wife's grandfather owned. Herve has been taking care of one specific plot of vines in the vineyard since 2013, managing it organically.

All of the classic qualities of Northern Rhone Syrah are here in the wine, with savoury elements and flavours of dark red fruits, but the lifted aromatics are the star of the show.

Herve's winemaking finesse is on show, melding perfume, spice and flavour with purity and freshness.
