Albillo is the grape, Alfredo is the man, and they join forces here in this gorgeous skinsy wine, Consuelo.
The fruit is all harvested and de-stemmed by hand, then sits for 7 days on skins to take on the amber colour as well as drawing out fleshiness, floral notes and a bit of phenolic grip.
Lively and crazily quaffable, this is a tantalising amber wine for sure. Ripe fruit bounces around happily on the palate, with a zip of acidity to keep your mouth watering and a refreshing finish. Everything is in perfect equilibrium, and it's a real delight.
